Debt free paycheck thirty-five

I have a spending problem

Feels good to say that out-loud. Say it with me. "I have a spending problem". Kinda hurts but it will help. I had to say this out-loud a few times after becoming debt free for the second time.
So I bought a Nikon D330 Dslr camera at Costco. Kind of threw the budget out of whack. It was on the list to buy before October. There was a sale and it was $300 off. I sound stupid as I type that last sentence. I paid in cash from my boot strapping business account. But now I'm gonna have to pay myself back.
The purchase was a little out of character for me. Since we only got out of debt a few days ago I need to learn to budget all over. My debt payment muscled are strong. Now I need to strengthen the saving muscles.

Check out how the camera blew the budget

$548 over budget. Thats not cool. Guess how much the camera was... yup $548.31
May budget
I'm already working to ward paying myself back for the camera. I realize now how easy it is to fall back into debt. Be careful!!!

Lets get caught up

Couldn't have become debt free for the second time without this budget. Big hairy debt payments is the tool for the job. You cannot wander out of debt. Being intentional with money was what worked!
Debt payment budget

Not a zero-based budget

As you can see above, I didn't spend $99.21 well, not right away. A few weeks later I took a trip to Omaha Nebraska and used the cash for a rental car. WhenI got home I had some money left. Spent that on gardening plants.
